Serial ATA Device and Host Cores
ASIC Architect's high performance SATA Controllers include industry-standard AHCI hardware stack that provides advanced features such as native-command queuing, multiple port instantiations, and first-party DMA capability. With its innovative architecture, the core can be dynamically configured as a host or device at power-up. As a host, it provides interface to PCI Express, AMBA® 2 AHBTM or AMBA® 3 AXITM bus. As a device, it provides a stream-lined command and data interface with complete flow control to connect efficiently to drive controller.
